My 89 year old Nana has a problem: she says she can never seem to eat all the bananas she buys before they turn soft. This means she has way too many bananas going into her freezer on a weekly basis to keep up with for baking.
The obvious answer to solve her problem would be to tell her to stop buying so many bananas — but that’s impossible. So instead, I gave her his very useful helpful hint for bananas:
Store Ripe Bananas in the Fridge! The skin of the banana will turn black, but the banana itself will stop ripening, allowing you to enjoy perfectly ripe bananas for a few more days.
As I got off the phone with her, she said, “I’ll talk to you later, got to go and put my bananas in the fridge.” How cute is she?!
