What do you do if you don't have a lid?

So, you’re making a delicious stir-fry and you’ve just added the broccoli. The recipe tells you to add a splash of water and then cover the pan to steam the broccoli.

But wait!

You don’t have a lid for that pan!

What do you do???

Most woks and large frying pans don’t come with a lid, which can be problematic. So here’s what to do when you don’t have a lid, just do what restaurants do — get another frying pan, turn it over, and voila! Instant lid. Even a baking sheet or piece of aluminum foil will do, as long as what you use is food safe and heat safe! This make-shift solution is awesome for catching steam to get your veggies the perfect level of tender-crisp.
