Helpful Hints For Working With Store-Bought Pizza Dough:

  • Room temperature dough stretches way easier than cold pizza dough. When using store-bought pizza dough, allow it to sit, covered, on the kitchen counter until it’s room temperature. If you try to roll/stretch it out and it still won’t stretch, let it rest a little longer.
  • Lightly flour your hands and working surface, this will keep the dough from sticking.
  • Make smaller pizzas, instead of larger ones. The dough will be easier to roll out and handle. You can make a few pizzas with a variety of toppings that way, too. It’s a win-win!
  • Patience. Seriously, it can take a while.
