Pick Deep coloured and firm, free of cracks and dark spots.  
Storage  Cut off the green tops.  Store carrots and green tops in an open or perforated plastic bag in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.  Avoid storing carrots close to apples, as they will take on a bitter flavour.
Prepare Scrub carrots well under cold water.  Leave whole or peel with a vegetable peeler. 


Pick Heads that feel firm and compact, with no black spotting.  Leaves should look crisp and green, with no signs of yellowing.
Storage  Refrigerate, unwashed, in an open or perforated bag plastic in the fridge for 3 to 5 days.
Prepare Rinse under cold water and drain.  Remove leaves and core.  Leave whole or cut into even sized florets.
