Fruits and Vegetables – K


Pick Deep coloured and fresh looking leaves.  Avoid limp bunches.
Store  Remove and discard any damaged leaves.  Plunge leaves into cold water, drain, and pat dry.  Wrap greens in paper towel and refrigerate in an open or perforated plastic bag for up to 5 days.
Prepare Tear or cut out tough stems and center ribs.  Use whole or cut into bite sizes pieces.
