Radishes

 
Pick Firm radishes with bright green and healthy tops.
Store  Cut off the green tops.  Store radishes and green tops in an open plastic or perforated bag in the fridge for 1 to 2 weeks.
Prepare Rinse well under cold water and trim off both ends of the radish.  

Rapini

 
Pick Choose rapini with tight green buds and healthy-looking leaves.
Store  Store in an open or perforated bag in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Prepare Trim off stem ends and wilted leaves. Rinse under cold water.

 

Rhubarb

 
Pick Stalks that are crisp, firm, and brightly coloured.  Redish-pink stalks are sweeter than green ones.
Store  Store in an open or perforated bag in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Prepare Trim leaves and discard.  Rinse well under cold water.  If fiberous, peel with a vegetable peeler to remove tough strings.
