Spaghetti Squash

PickChoose squash that is firm, smooth, and heavy for its size.  
Store Store unbagged in a cool, dark, and dry place with good ventilation.
PrepareRinse under cold water.  Leave whole or cut in half and scoop out the seeds.


PickCrisp, tender, and green leaves with firm stems.
Store Plunge spinach into cold water, drain, and pat dry.  Wrap in paper towel and store the fridge for up to 3 days.
PrepareLeave whole or slice. Remove any tough stems.



PickRipe strawberries will smell sweet.  Choose strawberries that are glossy, red, and plump, with bright green tops. 
Store Store berries in their container for up to 2 days.  Best to use them right away.
PrepareCut off green tops and discard. Gently rinse strawberries under cold water and pat dry. 


Sweet Potatoes

PickFirm, well-shaped sweet potatoes (they’ll be easier to peel).
Store Store, unwrapped, in a cool, dark, and dry place for up to 2 weeks.
PrepareRinse well under cold water.  Remove all dark spots.  Peel or leave unpeeled.
